BISBEE RESIDENT SINCE 1890 DIES
Bisbee — Star Williams, 77, resident of Bisbee since 1890, died Thursday morning at a local hospital and funeral services have been set tentatively for Monday.
A native of Antioch, Calif., he spent most of his early life in San Francisco before coming to Bisbee to work in the old Czar mine. In Arizona territorial days he was elected justice of the peace and then followed his admission to the practice of law. At one time he was a director of the Miners and Merchants bank here.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Williams, and a son, Star Williams Jr., of Montebello, Calif.
