Johnson Mine Cemetery

Reached by turning north toward Johnson from Interstate 10 about a mile east of the Texas Canyon summit and then taking the first road to the left toward the Walker Ranch. The cemetery is about 1 mile from the highway.

Russell or Russelville was renamed Johnson. There are duplicate names in this record and the Johnson Mine Cemetery records. It would appear that there are two different surveys of the same cemetery?

Transcribed by Vynette Sage from information was supplied to the Arizona Death Records,
Volume 3, by Charles H. Field, Jr. of Douglas, Arizona.
