Dos Cabezas Cemetery

This information was compiled from a book called “The Story of Dos Cabezas” by Phyllis de la Garza with photos and captions by Carol Wein.

NOTE: Three graves - each have metal mortuary markers set in cement. Written in the concrete: Recuerdos De Sus Padres. No longer able to read mortuary marker in formation.

In 1971 Mrs. Thomas P. Salver and Mrs. George L. Baker surveyed the DOS Cabezas Cemetery for the Arizona Genealogical Society. The names which they listed in their report, but that were not found in my survey done in February 1983 are listed with and asterisk.

On May 27, 1989, Ray Wien presented a list of people he knew were buried in the Dos Cabezas Cemetery in unmarked graves. They are the ones with no dates.
