Adams Family (Johnson Mine) Cemetery
Reached by turning north toward Johnson from Interstate 10
about a mile east of the Texas Canyon summit and then taking the first road
to the left toward the Walker Ranch. the cemetery is about 1 mile from the
highway. It was surveyed in the summer of of 1971 by Mrs. John Schwartzmann
and Dr. and Mrs. E.B.Jolley. Additional data was secured from LDS film #
599884. 15 burials have at least partially decipherable inscriptions, of
which the burial dates range from 1911 through 1969. There are also graves
without markers. Also known as the Adams Cemetery.
